Normalerweise findet am 23. Dezember das Weihnachtskonzert von Junge Musik in Schwerin statt. Dieses Jahr ist einiges anders – denn ohne K(uns)t wird’s still. Wie sich das Auf und Ab hinter der diesjährigen Planung anfühlt zeigen die gemischten Reaktionen. Dies ist nicht das Ergebnis unseres Weihnachtsprojekts, sondern vielmehr unser Kommentar der Umstände und ein Einblick hinter die Kulissen.

Wie viele andere, können auch wir unsere Projekte momentan nicht weiterführen, was uns aber nicht davon abhalten soll, gemeinsam Musik zu machen! Wir möchten deshalb eine kleine digitale bzw. Frischluft-Konzertreihe mit dem Arbeitstitel „Quarantäne Konzerte“ veranstalten – Smartphones bzw. viel Platz draußen machen’s möglich.
Die erste Ausgabe mit Mendelssohn’s Fuge in d-Moll (1821) hat schon sehr gut geklappt (Video unten!). Das zweite Projekt („Lockung“ von Fanny Hensel) war dann ein wenig größer und das Resultat seht ihr hier oder unten auf dieser Seite. Nach unserem Frischluft-Projekt im August 2020 überlegen wir nun wie es weiter geht und würden uns außerordentlich freuen, wenn auch DU beim nächsten Konzert mit dabei wärst. Wir suchen Sänger*innen allen Alters, egal ob mit Wurzeln in Schwerin oder einfach mit Lust auf das Projekt! Unter mitmachen@junge-musik-schwerin.de kannst du dich bei uns melden.

Die bisherigen Konzerte
Short Summary in English
Like many others, we can’t continue our projects at the moment, but that shouldn’t stop us from making music together! We would, therefore, like to organize a small digital concert series with the working title „Quarantine Concerts“ – smartphones make it possible.
The first edition with Mendelssohn’s Fugue in D minor (1821) has already worked out very well (video above!). In the second concert we performed „Lockung“ by Fanny Hensel – you’ll find the result above. There will be another concert and we would be very happy if YOU would also be part of it. We are looking for singers of all ages, no matter if you have your roots in Schwerin or just want to join the project! Wherever you are – join us!

Lockung (Joseph von Eichendorff, 1834) Can't you hear the forest rustle outside through the quiet round? Aren't you tempted to listen down from the balcony to the ground where the many brooks flow wondrously in moonlight - where the silent castles look into the river from the high rock? Do you remember the mad songs from former, beautiful times? They all awake again at night, in the loneliness of the forest, when the dreaming trees are listening and the lilac has a sultry scent and in the river the mermaids murmur: come down, here it is so cool.
